The State of Michigan’s Department of Environmental Quality recently tested the City of Cedar Springs’ municipal water supply and found it to be “non-detect” for PFAS and PFOS. This is confirmation of the testing that the City undertook and reported back in January: http://cedarspringspost.com/2018/01/25/city-of-cedar-springs-water-shows-no-contamination/
The City is aware that some private homes have had low levels of PFAS/PFOS detected in their private wells as far north as 14 mile but the City water system remains unaffected.
