Cedar Springs City Hall will be closing to the public starting Tuesday, March 17th and will closely monitor the spread and danger of COVID-19 on an ongoing basis. We hope to reopen to the public as soon as it is safe to do so. Staff will continue to work in City Hall and throughout the community but will be in contact with the public via phone, e-mail or by appointment only until that time.
As you are likely aware, the State of Michigan is currently dealing with an unprecedented emergency pandemic by the novel virus COVID-19. This pandemic is likely to have a major impact on all facets of society and State, County and local governments are working hard to ensure the health and safety of the public.
Current best practices to limit and slow down the COVID-19 pandemic include frequent hand-washing, not touching your face, cleaning and disinfecting common touch points, covering sneezes and coughing and self-quarantine/social distancing especially if you show symptoms of the disease or have been in contact with the disease or anybody showing symptoms.
Frequent symptoms of the disease include fever, dry cough, fatigue and shortness of breath. If you or somebody you know shows these symptoms you should continue the best practices listed above and telephone your local medical professional for advice on how to proceed with medical care if necessary.
