The purpose of the regularly scheduled meeting is to act and discuss any business that may come before the Planning Commission including the following public hearing:
1. Public Hearing For An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 40, Article I, Section 40-5 Entitled “Definitions – K – M;” Amend Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-461 Entitled “Home Occupations;” To Repeal Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-468 Entitled “Prohibition Of Marihuana Dispensaries, Collectives And Cooperatives;” To Amend Chapter 40, Article III, Section 40-294 Entitled “Special Land Uses;” To Amend Chapter 40, Article III, Section 40-342 Entitled “Special Land Uses;” To Amend Chapter 40, Article III, Section 40-365 Entitled “Special Land Uses;” To Amend Chapter 40, Article III, Section 40-387 Entitled “Special Land Uses;” And To Amend Chapter 40, Article VIII, Section 40-575 Entitled “Uses – F – M” Of The Code Of Ordinances For The City Of Cedar Springs: The Proposed Changes Define Standards And Zoning Regulations To Permit Designated Recreational Marijuana Facilities In Designated Zoning Districts Within The City Of Cedar Springs. Copies of The Proposed Amendment Are Available On The City’s Website At www.cityofcedarsprings.org
In accordance with EO 2020-75, this meeting may be held virtually as a ZOOM meeting or a combination of in-person and ZOOM meeting. Information related to how to access the meeting will be made available along with the Agenda for the meeting, approximately one week prior to the meeting. Agendas, public notices and full meeting packets of the meetings may be found at the City of Cedar Springs’s website www.cityofcedarsprings.org The Planning Commission meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held in the Cedar Springs City Council Chambers, 66 S. Main St., Cedar Springs, MI 49319 or virtually via the City’s virtual meeting platform ZOOM. Persons having any questions regarding these matters are urged to attend this meeting. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but wish to have your comments become a part of the official record of the meeting, please submit them in writing to the City Manager at manager@cityofcedarsprings.org or the above address or contact City Hall at 616.696.1330.
