CITY OF CEDAR SPRINGS
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Cedar Springs Planning Commission will conduct the following public hearings at the regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 09, 2021 for the following topics:
- Public Hearing For An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2 Sec.40-463 Of The Code Of Ordinances For The City Of Cedar Springs Entitled “Nonresidential Design Requirements.” This Ordinance Proposes Changes To The Nonresidential Design Requirements Including But Not Limited To Permitted Building Materials, HVAC Screening, And Façade Requirements.
- Public Hearing For An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 40, Article I, Section 40-5 Entitled “Definitions – K – M”; Chapter 40, Article III, Division 12, Section 40-386 Entitled “Permitted Uses” For The I-1 Industrial District; Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-461 Entitled “Home Occupations”; Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-468 Of The Code Entitled “Marihuana Establishments And Facilities” Of The Code Of Ordinances For The City Of Cedar Springs. This Ordinance Proposes Rules And Regulations For Marihuana Caregiver Establishments.
- Public Hearing For A Special Land Use Of The District Park LLC D/B/A Skymint, At 4173 17 Mile Rd., Cedar Springs, MI 49319: The Applicant Is Seeking Special Land Use Approval For A Recreational (Adult-Use) Marihuana Retail Store And A Recreational (Adult-Use) Marihuana Processor. The Property Is Zoned HC Highway Commercial, The Applicant Requests Special Land Use Approval In That District. The Municipal Code, Sec. 40-365(U) And Sec. 40-365(V) – Special Land Uses Require Approval From The Planning Commission For This Request. The Parcel Number Is 41-02-25-300-052.
The Planning Commission meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held in the Cedar Springs City Council Chambers, 66 S. Main St., Cedar Springs, MI 49319. Persons having any questions regarding these matters are urged to attend this meeting or attend virtually.
