The Meeting Was Called To Order At 7 P.M. By Mayor Hall. The Pledge Of Allegiance Was Recited. Seven Councilmembers Were Present. Five People Addressed The Council During The Public Comments. There Were No Public Hearings. The Agenda Was Approved With The Following Changes: Revise Item 6G From $27, 450 To $34, 255, Add Item 6H Acceptance Of Patrick Ensley Resignation From Construction Board Of Appeals, Add Item 8H Discussion On Ash Street Plans. Action Taken: Motion To Approve And Accept The Quitclaim And Reservation Of Drain Easement For 17 N. Main St. And Direct The City Manager To Effectuate The Transfer. Discussion: Downtown Halloween Spooktacular Trick Or Treating Event And City Wide Trick Or Treating, 2020-2021 Funds Returned To Fund Balance, An Ordinance To: Amend Chapter 40, Article III, Division 12 To Add Section 40-390 Entitled “White Pine Trail Overlay Zone”; To Amend Article III, Division 1, Section 40-131 Entitled “Zoning Districts” To Add “White Pine Trail Overlay Zone And; To Modify The Map Entitled “The Zoning Map Of Cedar Springs-First Reading, An Ordinance To Amend The City Code By Adding A New Article Which New Article Shall Be Designated As Chapter 5 Article III Of Said Code And Entitled “Medical Marihuana Caregiver Operations.”, An Ordinance To Modify Chapter 5 Article II Entitled “Recreational / Adult Use Marihuana Establishments” For The Code Of Ordinances For The City Of Cedar Springs, Main St. Bridge Project Bid Summary, Library Community Event Applications, Discussion On Removal/Demolition Of The Old Fire Station Building. Council Entered Closed Session At 8:40 P.M. At The City Managers Request To Discuss The Periodic Personnel Evaluation Of The City Manager. The Council Reconvened In Open Session At 9:41 P.M. The Meeting Was Adjourned At 9:42 P.M. A Complete Copy Of The Minutes Are Available In The Office Of The City Clerk And Will Be Posted On The City’s Website Upon Approval.
